Salah satu cabang pertama dari resto Moi Garden, setelah membuka resto pertama di daerah Surabaya Timur, Moi Garden membuka resto baru di Surabaya Barat, dan dinamakan Moi Village. Bagus juga restonya diberi judul yang sedikit berbeda, jadi bisa dengan mudah membedakan antara satu resto dan lainnya.

This is one of the branch of the Moi Garden Restaurant, which serves Chinese food, Hakka Cuisine to be specific. After their first restaurant was opened in Eastern Surabaya, their branch is located in the western part of Surabaya. I like how they used a different name from the Moi Garden, here they substitute the Garden part with Village, naming it Moi Village.

Kunjungan malam ini untuk menghadiri pesta ultah anak dari teman yang baru berusia 1 tahun. Jadi berbeda dengan ulasan biasanya, kali ini tidak sempat memfoto menu dan harga hidangannya.

I went here on invitation to a birthday party, a friend daughter had a first birthday party in Moi Village. So this time instead of posting a complete menu and price, I'll just post a general description.

Masakan Hakka ialah cara masak oleh suku Hakka yang berasal dari sisi Selatan Guangdong dan Fujian di Cina. Karena banyaknya diaspora yang bertempat tinggal di luar negeri, masakan serupa bisa ditemukan di Hongkong, Indonesia, Malaysia dan Singapura.

Pengalaman makan di sini cukup menyenangkan, tidak ada keluhan baik dari segi rasa, pelayanan, maupun penampilan hidangannya. Rasa masakan Hakka secara umum lebih minim bumbu dibanding masakan kanton yang umum ditemui di resto Chinese di Surabaya.

Our dining experience here is quite nice, there isn't any complain about the taste, service or their plating. In general Hakka cuisine is a bit more bland compared to the more popular Cantonese Cuisine which is common in Surabaya, but it's equally delicious.
